MICROS MTABLET E SERIES

Micros mTablet E series are two Micros handheld POS systems, the 8 and 11. The 8 has an 8 in. WXGA 1280×800 screen size LCD, 1.33GHz Intel Atom Quad Core, 2GB DDR3L RAM, and 32GB eMMC storage, with 802.11 a/b/c/g/n Dual Band Wi-Fi Radio, Bluetooth 4.0, and Micro SD Card Reader supporting up to 64GB.

The 11 has a 10.8 in. WXGA 1280×800 screen LCD, 1.33GHz Intel Atom Quad Core, 2GB DDR3L RAM, and 32GB eMMC storage, with 802.11 a/b/c/g/n Dual Band Wi-Fi Radio, Bluetooth 4.0, and Micro SD Card Reader supporting up to 64GB.

Both come with Windows 8.1 Industrial and Micros Client Application Uploader (CAL) installed.

An optional magnetic strip card reader (MSR) sleeve that encloses the tablet and gives it 1d 2d imager scanning, and peripherals, charging, and Ethernet connection for the mStation base the tablet sits on, is also available for Micros handheld POS.

The new R-Series Micros handheld POS devices offer a completely new minimalistic design combined with durable weathered and spill resistant technology that improves business efficiency through a flexible and versatile platform.

Its new mTablet is a stunning slim 10.1 in. touchscreen LCD screen tablet that’s extremely rugged (spill and drop resistant) with daylight viewable technology, an integrated magnetic strip card reader (MSR), high-capacity battery, that combines comfortably with the base station as a point of sale terminal or detaches to operate as a standalone mobile point of sale handheld. When docked, full industry standard peripherals are available, with modular hardware connectivity options to expand functionality or keep minimal.

The new R-Series Micros handheld POS runs Microsoft CE 7 and Oracle Hospitality Client Application Loader (CAL), on a 1024×600 WVGA 10.1 in. screen, Freescale i.MX6 ARM Cortex A9 1 GHz processor, 1 GB DDR3 RAM, 4GB Fixed NAND storage with a removable 8GB microSD card. 802.11 a/b/g/n wireless connectivity, with Bluetooth 2.1, with hardware encryption enabled at swipe through the modular integrated magnetic strip card reader.
