Install Conky Manager Conky is a free, open source and lightweight system monitor tool for Linux and BSD system. Conky displays the system information and statistics such as CPU load, Memory usage, Hard drive usage, Network activity, GPU temperature, fan. There is a great installation guide over at Nova Spirit Tech. I have copied it for your convenience below. How to Install Conky: I am sorry to say that there is no GUI install for Conky so we are going to have it install it from the command line. Open a terminal window and copy and paste the BLUE CODE below: sudo apt-get install conky -y. Sudo add-apt-repository ppa:teejee2008/ppa sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install conky-manager Install Conky Manager in Fedora and Arch-based Linux distributions. Conky Manager is available to install from AUR. You can get it from there. Fedora users can get the RPM from this link. I am not sure if it is well supported though.

Installation
Ubuntu-based Distributions (Ubuntu, Linux Mint, etc)
If you are using Ubuntu or its derivatives (like Xubuntu, Linux Mint, etc) you can install it from the Launchpad PPA. Builds are available for the following Ubuntu releases:
- 13.10 (saucy)
- 14.04 (trusty)
- 14.10 (utopic)
For any other release, you can install it using the DEB files given below.
conky-manager-latest-i386.deb (32-bit, 1 MB)
conky-manager-latest-amd64.deb (64-bit, 1 MB)
To install from PPA, type the following commands one by one in a terminal window:
Updates will be installed automatically if you have enabled automatic updates enabled on your system. The package can also be updated manually by running the install command again.

Conky is a light-weight system monitor that displays any kind of information on your desktop.
Conky Manager is a graphical tool that manages Conky config files. It provides options to start/stop, browse and edit Conky themes installed on the system.
Install Conky and Conky Manager in Ubuntu 20.04:
The “Linux Mint Türkiye” team PPA contains Conky manager packages for Ubuntu 18.04 and Ubuntu 20.04.
1.) Open terminal from your system application launcher. Then run command to add the PPA:
Type user password (no asterisk feedback) for sudo prompts and hit Enter to continue.
Conky Manager
2.) Then install Conky as well as Conky Manager via commands:
Package conky-manager-extra
contains a list of conky config files and themes.
Install Conky On Arch
Finally launch Conky Manager from your system application launcher, choose a widget or theme, run it, and enjoy!
Known issues and solutions:
The default list of widgets and themes has some running issues on my Ubuntu 20.04 desktop.
Choose the config file from the list, then click on the pencil icon to edit it via text editor. When the file opens, do:

If conky starts as a separate window with close, minimize, maximize buttons, you can remove them and make conky stick on your desktop by:

- Set transparent conky background:
To set the conky background transparency, add (or set value if exist) following lines (change number 0 to get semi-transparent):
