I picked up this older Fisher... not sure how old but it is orig except the handlebar and seat plus it is pretty darn good shape. I have been having a blast riding it... reminds me of the good old days.

I am thinking it is post-buyout because the frame says 'Gary Fisher' ...but I can't remember which year buyout was.It is made in Taiwan of steel (Tange 4130). Components are Suntour X-1 (bitd when bikes got full groupo - or close to). It is 7spd and has the funky X-Press shifters (Suntour version of STI).
Has round charnings, welded stem, OS headset (1.25') and the brake cables (&fittings) are not oversized. So I would guess it to be 1989 or 1990 but ???
Serial # is FS90085394 (seems would kinda match that date)
Gary Fisher Bike Identification
Any information I can find on Hoo Koo E Koo indicates they all had Shimano parts... none w/Suntour.Anyone know how to date it?
